Terms of service
1. Who we are
Ecoglassworks is the store at ecoglassworks.eu. Your seller is GLASSVERDE ECOGLASSWORKS Aneta Fistek, Łukasz Fistek Spółka Cywilna, a Polish civil law partnership of Aneta Fistek and Łukasz Fistek, referred to in these terms as “Ecoglassworks s.c.”, “we” or “us”. Our VAT identification number is PL9930688656.
Business address: ECOGLASSWORKS, Zakład Produkcji Opakowań, Ładna 15, 33-156 Skrzyszów, Poland.
Email: shop@ecoglassworks.eu. Telephone: +48 601 758 781. Contact hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00, Europe/Warsaw time (CET/CEST), excluding public holidays in Poland.
Shopify provides the store platform. The sales contract is with us.
2. Who can order
Our store primarily serves business customers, and we also accept consumer orders. You must have legal capacity to enter into the contract. If you order for a business, you must be authorised to act for it.
A consumer is an individual buying mainly for purposes outside their trade, business or profession. A “protected sole trader” is an individual covered by Article 7aa of the Polish Consumer Rights Act: the purchase relates directly to their business but is not professional in nature for that person, assessed in particular against the business activities recorded in CEIDG. A business invoice or VAT number alone does not remove that protection.
The withdrawal and statutory conformity rights in our Refund policy also apply to protected sole traders. Other consumer protections apply to them where the law provides. References to ordinary business customers exclude consumers and protected sole traders for those rights.
3. Products and handmade glass
Please check the product description, dimensions, intended use and care instructions before ordering. Our glassware is hand formed. Small variations in shape, wall thickness, shade and small bubbles may occur within the characteristics and tolerances described for the product. These natural variations alone are not defects where the goods meet the agreed description, safety requirements and reasonable expectations for that product.
This does not exclude complaints about cracks, chips, unsafe glass, incorrect goods or other lack of conformity. A general statement about handmade glass does not replace disclosure and any legally required separate acceptance of a specific deviation, including for Outlet goods.
Where a product is described as “made from recycled glass cullet”, the statement refers to the material used in glassmaking. Any product-specific material information is given on its product page.
4. Minimum order and volume discounts
The minimum merchandise value per order is €300, calculated before the volume discount, including VAT where chargeable and excluding delivery. The same minimum applies to samples unless we agree otherwise in an individual offer.
The following volume discounts apply automatically to the merchandise value before the volume discount:
| Merchandise value before volume discount | Volume discount |
|---|---|
| Below €700 | No volume discount |
| €700 to €1,499.99 | 20% |
| €1,500 or more | 30% |
The discount thresholds use the current merchandise subtotal before the volume discount, including VAT where chargeable and excluding delivery. For an eligible zero-rated business order, the threshold is assessed using the merchandise amount actually charged before that discount.
Only the highest applicable tier is used. The 20% and 30% discounts are not added together or combined with other discount codes. Both tiers include products in Sale and Outlet, using their current selling prices before the volume discount.
The minimum is an ordering condition. The ability to submit checkout below €300 does not confirm that the minimum has been met. Before accepting such an order, we contact you within one business day to arrange an adjustment or decline the order. An adjustment requires your agreement. If we decline after taking payment, we refund it without undue delay and within 14 calendar days. We do not rely on this clause to cancel a contract already accepted by us.
5. Prices, VAT and invoices
Prices are in euros (EUR) and include VAT where chargeable. Delivery costs are separate and must be disclosed before you commit to the order. The agreed total includes the applicable product discount, VAT and delivery charge.
For an eligible business purchase shipped from Poland to another EU Member State, a valid EU VAT number is one requirement for a zero-rated intra-Community supply. The other statutory conditions must also be met, including evidence of cross-border delivery. The buyer accounts for the intra-Community acquisition in the destination country. A VAT number does not automatically make every order VAT-free, including orders delivered within Poland.
For business VAT treatment, provide your business name, billing address and EU VAT number before payment. We verify eligibility before applying a zero rate. Consumer VAT is charged according to the rules applicable to the transaction and destination; the applicable tax is included in the total shown before payment.
Please provide correct billing details when ordering. We issue and make invoices available in accordance with applicable tax rules. For a copy or a billing correction, email shop@ecoglassworks.eu with your order number. An order confirmation is not itself a VAT invoice.
We do not use a crossed-out former price as a substitute for the legally required reference price. When we announce a product price reduction, we show the lowest price applied in the preceding 30 days, or the relevant shorter period if the product has been offered for less than 30 days, as required by law. The form of the announcement, including Sale labels, is assessed as well as the price display.
6. Placing an order and payment
Select products and quantities, review your basket, enter billing and delivery details, and choose from the delivery and payment methods offered for your order. You can correct errors before submitting the order with an obligation to pay.
The available payment methods and their providers are shown in checkout. The selection may vary by country, order or provider availability. Follow the payment instructions and any payment deadline displayed for your selected method. We do not charge an additional payment fee unless it is lawful and clearly disclosed before you order.
Shopify supplies the checkout platform. Information about Shopify's services and data handling is available in its current legal policies and Privacy Policy. A separate payment provider's terms apply to that provider's service. These policies do not replace your sales contract with Ecoglassworks or reduce your mandatory rights against us.
Submitting an order is your offer to buy. A sales contract is formed when we send an email confirming that we accept your order. A message that only acknowledges receipt must be identified as such and does not constitute acceptance. We accept or decline within one business day. Any proposed change requires your agreement. If we decline an order after taking payment, we return it without undue delay and no later than 14 calendar days after declining it.
Once a contract is formed, we cannot change its price, quantity or agreed delivery terms without your agreement, except where mandatory law provides otherwise. We provide the contract information and applicable policies in a form you can keep, by email or an attached document.
The store's contract language is English. Mandatory local-language information requirements remain applicable where relevant. No translation changes your mandatory rights.
7. Stock, production and pallet estimates
You may order available stock plus an additional quantity of up to three pallets for production per order. For a mixed order, the additional production quantities are assessed together using the packing requirements of the selected products. Larger production quantities require an individual email offer.
If any part of your order requires production under this rule, the whole order is dispatched together, five business days later than the standard dispatch time. We do not split off the in-stock items unless we separately agree this with you. For larger quantities, contact shop@ecoglassworks.eu for an individual offer.
Producing an ordinary catalogue product after you order does not make it a personalised product and does not, by itself, remove a statutory right of withdrawal.
The pallet planner gives an approximate packing estimate. We confirm final packing after the order is placed. This does not authorise an extra charge or a different delivery service without your agreement. Any change affecting price or delivery must be agreed before acceptance of the order, or by a separate agreement afterwards.
8. Dispatch and delivery
In-stock goods are dispatched within 24 hours after acceptance of the order and confirmation of any payment required before dispatch. Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays in Poland are not counted in this period. Catalogue production adds five business days to the standard dispatch time. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in Poland.
Destinations, carriage times, charges, parcel and pallet delivery conditions are set out in the Shipping policy. We disclose the agreed delivery period before the order becomes binding. We inform you promptly of delays; your statutory remedies remain available.
For consumers, transit risk remains with us until you or your nominated recipient, other than the carrier, receive the goods. The statutory exception applies if you independently commission a carrier that we did not offer. For ordinary business purchases, the statutory rules on the transfer of transit risk apply unless a separate written offer agrees different delivery terms. The transfer of risk does not by itself determine the transfer of ownership.
9. Withdrawal, returns and complaints
Consumers and protected sole traders normally have 14 calendar days to notify us of withdrawal from a distance sales contract. The full procedure, model form, return costs and specific exceptions are in our Refund policy.
We are responsible for the statutory conformity of goods sold to consumers and protected sole traders. Sale, Outlet and catalogue production goods keep those rights. Ordinary business customers have the remedies described in the Refund policy. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Using this website
You need an internet connection, an up-to-date browser and an email address to order. The website provides product information, an order facility and a contact form. If you choose to use an available customer account feature, follow its registration or sign-in instructions and keep access credentials secure. You can request account closure by email; closing an account does not cancel existing orders or statutory retention duties. If a newsletter subscription is offered, it requires a separate choice and can be cancelled through the unsubscribe option or by emailing us.
You may use the store for lawful personal or business purchasing. Do not submit unlawful content, interfere with security or misuse another person's data. Website materials remain protected by applicable intellectual property law.
Report website or electronic service problems to shop@ecoglassworks.eu, with a description of the problem and a reply address. We answer consumer complaints within 14 calendar days of receipt. You may stop browsing or using the contact form at any time. This does not cancel an existing order. Personal data is handled as described in our Privacy policy.
11. Governing law and resolving disputes
Polish law applies. For consumers, this choice does not remove mandatory protection under the law of their country of habitual residence where that protection applies. Court jurisdiction is determined by applicable law; consumers are not required by these terms to sue only in Poland.
Please contact us first if a problem arises. Consumers may seek assistance from a local consumer ombudsman, the Polish Trade Inspection or a European Consumer Centre for an eligible cross-border dispute. Information about approved Polish alternative dispute resolution bodies is available at polubowne.uokik.gov.pl, and cross-border consumer support at eccnet.eu.
We are not declaring a general commitment to every ADR scheme. Where a complaint remains unresolved, we provide the information and statement about participation required by law. ADR does not prevent you from going to court.
12. Versions of these terms
The version agreed when your order was placed governs that order. Later changes do not alter an existing sales contract without a lawful basis or your agreement.
Version date: 28 September 2026.
